Gallery K was launched in November 1990 (as an outlet of K Antiques and Fine Arts Ltd which was founded in 1983) with the purpose of promoting Contemporary Greek Art in London. We are situated in Hampstead, known for its rich artistic tradition, in an 18th century typical village house that has turned into an exceptional contemporary gallery space.
The policy adopted was to show the work of living artists in every medium - paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, ceramics - both by new, undiscovered talents and by established artists whose careers the gallery could assist.
By now, the gallery has established a reputation as a fine contemporary gallery showing both promising as well as with established artists. The success of the gallery stems from the dedication and hard work of its directors and staff to the promotion and marketing of the works by our artists, whose numbers have constantly grown.
Gallery K has expanded its activities by launching in November 1999 Gallery K in Nicosia, Cyprus. This was a strategic decision aimed at creating a second venue for our artists. It has proven to be a resounding success.
